Wild Horses!
We have just returned from holiday in one of my favourite places - The Gower Peninsular in South wales. I was lucky enough to be brought up here and one of my lasting memories is the wild ponies that roam everyway, even your back garden was fair game if the gate wasn't shut. They seem to know bin day in all the different areas. This time of year is particularly lovely when the mares have either just given birth or are as round as a barrel. The yearlings are still with their mums and, with their soft colourings and slightly sunburnt manes, are just wonderful to see. They potter around on the top of Cefn Bryn, enjoying the sun, the most spectacular views, not minding the rain, and putting up with endless people like me trying to take photos.
